Jaylen Brown says on top of their on-court chemistry, he’s enjoyed building a friendship with Kristaps Porzingis. They live in the same building and have shared some fun rides from the airport.
“It’s been a joy. KP is hilarious, funnier than you probably think. He’s a good guy.”
Kristaps Porzingis has fit in seamlessly on the Boston Celtics. Credit to him, but also his teammates for giving him the opportunity to thrive. According to Jaylen Brown, not only has he embraced the Latvian on the court, but the pair are bonding off the court as well. Living in the same building certainly has helped.
Through three weeks of the NBA season the Celtics are 7-2. Jaylen is averaging 23 points and 5.2 rebounds a game while Kristaps is putting up 19.6 and 6.2 rebounds per (along with a team leading 1.3 blocks). Brown and Poringis have also been stroking it from beyond the arc with 3-point percentages of 38.2 and 39.5 respectively.
