Predicted Leeds lineup to face QPR: A 23-year-old receives the start as a $11 million player makes a comeback

The goal for Leeds United this evening against Queens Park Rangers is to get back to winning. On Saturday, the Whites played their worst performance of the year and were easily defeated 3-1 by Southampton.

In retrospect, it was a mistake for Daniel Farke to start with the same lineup at St. Mary’s from the team that defeated Watford 3-0 seven days earlier

As a result, it’s likely that Farke will make changes this evening to keep his team fresh ahead of the weekend’s home game against Bristol City.

Here is our expected starting XI for this evening with that in mind.

Three Leeds players, including Illan Meslier, have participated in every minute of every league game to date. Illan Meslier holds his spot. Defense Farke must make crucial decision over whether to start Sam Byram since, if he does, he probably won’t play against Bristol City. This time, Farke might decide to start Luke Ayling at right-back instead of Byram in order to give Byram more time to recover. Jamie Shackleton would then go to the left. 11 million pound man Liam Cooper moves to the bench as Joe Rodon is almost expected to replace Pascal Struijk at center back.
