SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT!!!! – The Man United icon criticizes his summer signing against Man City, saying………

Peter Schmeichel, a Manchester United icon, is not at all satisfied with Sofyan Amrabat, the summer acquisition who was substituted out during the team’s weekend loss to Manchester City.

When he came to Manchester United on loan from Fiorentina in the summer, the Morocco international appeared like a promising addition to the team. However, he is now just one of several players in Erik ten Hag’s lineup that seems to be far from their peak.

Amrabat’s World Cup achievements last year, where he helped Morocco to their first-ever semi-final appearance, attracted the attention of elite teams. However, it’s fair to say that thus far, Premier League football has proven to be a bit of a challenge for him.

It’s safe to say that this is beginning to appear like a significant worry because Schmeichel felt Amrabat was way off the pace versus City, which caused Ten Hag to make a change in his midfield after the opening 45 minutes.

Schmeichel stated on Premier League Productions, as cited by the Metro, “I don’t know what his game plan was, I don’t know what he told the players but when he says they played a good first half I don’t agree.”

He makes a change at halftime, and there’s a good reason for it—the midfield strategy wasn’t working. Amrabat was moving so slowly that Man City could do everything they wanted.
