Rangers-linked Fluminense winger Jhon Arias looks set to line up for the Brazilian side against Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores Final.

It will be Brazil v Argentina in the Final of South America’s Champions League equivalent with Rio de Janeiro side Fluminense looking to win the trophy for the first time in their history.

In contrast, legendary Buenos Aires club Boca Juniors have won the trophy six times and the two clubs are preparing to battle this Saturday in the Maracanã – coincidentally Fluminense’s home stadium.

It promises to be an enthralling match which is set to kick off at 5pm local time on the 4th of November, or at 8pm in the UK.

Now, Rangers fans might well have a vested interest in tuning into the game after links emerged between the Ibrox club and form Fluminense winger Jhon Arias earlier in the week.

According to TEAMtalk, Rangers are one of several clubs who are looking at the 26-year-old Colombian winger after a stunning season in Brazil.

The winger has nine goals and 13 assists this season but Rangers will face stiff competition from the English Premier League and the Championship should they hold a genuine interest.
