News Report: Why The Phoenix Suns will not have Devin Booker against the Philadelphia 76ers…..

PHOENIX — We’re a little under one hour away from opening tip between the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers, and Frank Vogel revealed the final status of shooting guard Devin Booker.

According to Duane Rankin, Vogel has ruled Booker out for today’s matchup – slated to start at 10:00 AM AZ Time. The Suns also have a matchup against the Detroit Pistons tomorrow, too.

Booker has been dealing with various foot injuries since preseason action, though it’s been a sprained ankle suffered in the season-opening win against the Golden State Warriors that’s seen him miss majority of early season action thus far.

In his home debut, Booker scored 31 points while adding nine rebounds and 13 assists in the loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

Bradley Beal (lower back tightness) and Damion Lee (meniscus surgery) are also for today’s tilt vs Philadelphia. Beal hasn’t played in regular season action yet while Lee injured himself in a workout prior to training camp starting
