Tottenham anticipates that Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie will both be able to play against Crystal Palace on Friday night in a London derby.
In the second half of Monday night’s 2-0 victory over Fulham, both players were substituted: left-back Udogie was experiencing some muscle tightness, and midfielder Sarr was battling a sickness.
However, Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou anticipates that the two will be ready to go for Friday’s trip to Selhurst Park.
On Sarr, Postecoglou stated: “He is OK. He had a recent illness, so he wasn’t feeling quite well coming into the game.
He was eager to start, though, and I had a hunch he wouldn’t last more than 60 or 70 minutes. Despite the short turnaround until Friday, I am fairly certain he will be okay.
Postecoglou stated of Udogie: “He felt a little tightness.
“Once more, we decided it was a good idea to pull him off after we scored the second goal with such little time left. Once more, I do not consider it to be important.
