Ange Postecoglou: National Team Boss Is Strong On Training Pitch

Australia manager Graham Arnold has praised Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou for his readiness to coach on the training ground and his attention to detail in recruitment.

Postecoglou has made an immediate impact in the Premier League since taking over at Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season.

After eight games, his Tottenham Hotspur team sits atop the Premier League table, defying all expectations.

The Australian has received praise for reviving Tottenham as an attractive team to watch, and Arnold emphasized that one of the reasons Spurs are looking good is that Postecoglou, like most Australian managers, is still eager to coach.

The Australia coach spent a day with Postecoglou at Tottenham’s training facility and said that the players are displaying genuine energy as the Tottenham manager puts them through short but intense practices.

He also emphasized Postecoglou’s recruitment quality, which he attributes to his attention to detail.

“In Australia, you learn how to coach, not just manage,” Arnold told The Athletic.

Tottenham will return from the international break against Fulham at home on Monday, October 23rd.
