After scoring a hat-trick, 27-year-old Tottenham target sets a 60-year league record.

Serhou Guirassy, a UK Stuttgart striker, has scored another hat-trick after being linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 27-year-old attacker talked to the club’s website after adding another league goal to his total for the season.

Tottenham’s summer was spent wondering about Harry Kane’s future and whether he will be replaced.

Kane eventually left for Bayern Munich, where he is tearing up the Bundesliga.

Instead of simply replacing England’s captain, Spurs brought in Brennan Johnson and Alejo Veliz to cover diverse roles in the team.

Serhou Guirassy’s start in Germany has been exceptional, with nine goals and four assists in all competitions in only eight appearances.

Guirassy’s hat-trick yesterday brings his league record to 13 goals in seven games, which has piqued the interest of Tottenham.

In fact, Guirassy’s start to the season has smashed the Bundesliga record for most goals scored at this point in the season since it began 60 years ago.

The Guinean international has already surpassed his previous season’s goal total.
