Salernitana Iervolino’s president has hinted that a January raid by the Wolves for Boulaye Dia might not occur.
The Senegal international was infamously courted by Wanderers to sign on deadline.
Following Wolves’ loss on Che Adams, they looked to the 26-year-old.
However, Salernitana did not think the proposal was suitable.
Their sporting director, Morgan De Sanctis, publicly criticized the club, indicating how much it was underappreciated.
Tensions developed on Salernitana’s side as a result of Wolves’ tardy approach.
Furthermore, they don’t appear to have disappeared.
This season, Wanderers have improved in the last third.
Arguably, though, the team is still missing that effective finisher.
Despite all of his outstanding labor for the club, Matheus Cunha is not a terrific finisher.
