Manchester United’s key player is missing from the squad photo.
After accusing Erik ten Hag of lying, Jadon Sancho’s days at Manchester United appear to be numbered.
Jadon Sancho has been left out of Manchester United’s squad photo for the upcoming season.
United players gathered at their Carrington training base for the first in-person group portrait since the start of the 2014-15 season, although the banished Sancho was not present.
For the previous five weeks, the 23-year-old has been working separately from his United teammates after accusing manager Erik ten Hag of lying in a Twitter post about his absence from the matchday squad against Arsenal on September 3.
Ten Hag barred Taboola Sancho from team training when the United squad returned in mid-September, and he last appeared for the club against Nottingham Forest on August 26.
Ten Hag has declined to mention Sancho by name at any of his press appearances and has begun to avoid inquiries about the winger.
Sancho is utilizing the youth facilities at United’s Carrington and must change on his own with the door locked due to safety concerns at a facility that includes under-18s.
Some of Sancho’s closest players in the United squad have urged him to apologize to Ten Hag, but even a late apology is unlikely to save his United career, according to top insiders.
