Liverpool are said to be interested in Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
Liverpool could make a move for the 24-year-old Nigerian striker next year, according to Valder De Maggio of Radio Kiss Kiss (via Napoli Magazine).
He has stated that the Premier League club is keen on signing the Napoli striker, and it remains to be seen whether they would put pressure on the player’s agency not to renew his contract.
“There is a lot of interest in Victor Osimhen in Liverpool.” Then it will be interesting to see whether the Reds will put pressure on Osimhen’s agent not to renew.”
Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli at the conclusion of the season and might be a valuable addition.
The striker is reportedly valued at €120 million, and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool is willing to pay that much for him. The Reds already have Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo on their roster. It will be interesting to watch how the Nigerian fits into the starting lineup.
Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. The Egyptian is in the final year of his contract, and Saudi Arabian clubs may be interested in signing him. Instead of buying a centre forward like Osimhen, Liverpool should look to invest on a talented wide forward
