Liverpool will win a tense Merseyside Derby on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds travel to Anfield to face the Blues, hoping to end a two-game losing streak. Another early post-international break kick-off isn’t ideal, but victory puts Liverpool atop the Premier League table.
That, according to former England and Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman, will happen. On his Seaman Says podcast, the 60-year-old predicts Liverpool to win.
“I’m going to go 2-1 Liverpool,” the commentator predicts when asked for a prediction. A clean slate would be ideal, but we’ll take it!
Liverpool faces a little pressure tomorrow after going two games without a win.
There were numerous mitigating factors for the Reds failing to overcome Tottenham and Brighton away from home, but it did put them significantly behind the pace.
Nonetheless, a victory on Saturday would be a huge boost. It would put them atop the table, with their opponents all scheduled to play later in the weekend.
