Chris Sutton predicts a 2-0 win for Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
The last three Merseyside derbies at Anfield have all concluded in 2-0 scores, with Liverpool winning twice and Everton winning once. According to current form, the next match between the sides this Saturday offers nothing but a win for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The Toffees have lost five Premier League games this season, and things do not appear to be going well for Sean Dyche. Liverpool, on the other hand, has only lost one game all season, and that was earlier this month at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium under dubious circumstances.
Sutton had the following to say regarding the 12:30 KO on Saturday when speaking live to the BBC:
“Liverpool have beaten Everton at Anfield by two goals in each of the last two seasons, so I’m going to stick with that scoreline.” I would have predicted a goal for Everton, but my kid is predicting 2-0, so I’m going to listen to her.”
