BAD!!!!! He’s Lost: Micah Richards now thinks ‘amazing’ Liverpool player is ………

Virgil van Dijk’s performance with Liverpool has reportedly declined following his ACL injury in 2020, according to Micah Richards.

The Dutch international Van Dijk tore his ACL against Everton in 2020, the former Manchester City defender claimed in an interview with the Match of the Day Top 10 Podcast. The injury kept the defender out for months and led to a terrible season for the Reds, who had won the league the year before.Since undergoing his Cruciate, he is not as good as he once was.

After three years, many now believe that Van Dijk is passed his prime and that he is no longer the best defender in the world.

Richards seems to believe Van Dijk’s quality has decreased, even though it is impossible to verify such a claim. As the commentator put it: “His standards have fallen.”

It takes some time to complete your cruciate exercise. He’s getting a lot of flak for losing pace, and doing your cruciate will also cause you to lose pace, everyone is saying.

Van Dijk, who was recently praised by Dirk Kuyt as a “amazing” player, is still one of Liverpool’s key players and one of the top defenders in the world.

The Dutchman has obviously lost something since his ACL injury, but considering the nature of the issue, this shift is hardly surprising.

But Van Dijk’s impact is still very much felt, and Liverpool would not be as good without the 32-year-old in their lineup.
