Young player Louie Barry from Aston Villa says he is devastated to have injured his hamstring during Tuesday’s League Two match between Crewe Alexandra and Stockport County.
The 20-year-old underwent a scan at the hospital after being replaced in the first half. He said, “I’ll be cheering the boys on from the sidelines the entire time. will need surgery and will be sidelined for several months, but I’ll be back stronger than ever.
Barry has contributed to eleven goals in 15 league games while playing for County, showing signs of form. In addition, he was selected September’s League Two Player of the Month.
