Brennan Johnson has lauded Leeds United’s Ethan Ampadu on Instagram after he helped Daniel Farke’s side to a statement 1-0 win over Leicester City on Friday.
The relegated duo locked horns at the King Power Stadium for a mouthwatering Championship clash, with Ethan Ampadu starting in the middle of the park for a Leeds United team sitting outside of the automatic places.
Even though Leicester City had won an incredible 13 from 14 games, that came to an abrupt end thanks to a second-half Georginio Rutter goal.
This was Leeds United sticking their chest out and sending out a signal to all that, even though there is an 11-point gap between themselves and the table-toppers, they aren’t going anywhere and they are ready to push them to the end.
One player who has played a big part in these high-quality performances from the Yorkshire side is Ethan Ampadu and he is getting a lot of love from his teammates, including his fellow countryman and Tottenham forward Brennan Johnson.
The £48 million signing (Sky Sports) wrote in the comments section of Ethan Ampadu’s Instagram that it is a ‘pleasure’ watching the Wales international play, whilst Joel Piroe also praised the 23-year-old.
‘Always a pleasure watching you,” said Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson, whilst Joel Piroe called his club teammate a ‘general’.
