‘WHAT A SIGNING’: PUNDIT SAYS ‘SENSATIONAL’ PLAYER ARSENAL’S BEST TRANSFER

Aaron Ramsey, according to James Benge, is Arsenal’s best transfer since the Invincibles.

Let’s be honest: it hasn’t exactly been a time to celebrate, both on and off the field of play, since Arsenal last won the Premier League in 2003/04.

The fans will have experienced a great deal. From FA Cup victories to the departure of Arsenal great Arsene Wenger to devastating failures, the club has seen it all.

When asked to choose his favourite transfers from the post-Invincibles period, Arsenal fan and CBS journalist Aaron Ramsey was well at the top of the list, as he told Inside Arsenal.

The 32-year-old, who returned to Cardiff City this summer, joined the Gunners in 2008 for a fee of ‘£5 million’ from the Bluebirds, where he made 369 appearances, scored 64 goals, provided 66 assists, and won three FA Cups.

Benge, who was described as a’sensational’ footballer during his time at the Emirates, explains why the Welsh icon is at the top of his list.
