Following the expiration of his contract at OGC Nice during the summer, Wales international Aaron Ramsey made an unprecedented return to Cardiff City but is currently on a hefty wage.
Ramsey joined the Bluebirds as an eight-year-old schoolboy and broke through from the academy to make his debut in the first team towards the back end of the 2006/07 season.

Ramsey’s talents were spotted after two seasons of professional football with Cardiff, and Premier League heavyweights Arsenal stepped in for his signature and won his services for a rumoured sum of £4.8 million.
The midfielder returned to the Welsh club on a one-month loan for the 2010/11 season but agreed to sign a permanent contract 12 years later and has been in excellent form this season under new manager Erol Bulut.
Ramsey’s annual salary has been calculated to be £4,160,000, making his two-year contract at Cardiff City Stadium worth a total of £8.32 million.
The Welshman put pen to paper on a two-year deal back in the summer. However, according to Capology, Ramsey is currently on £80,000 per week which is the joint third-highest wage in the Championship right now and is four times more than Cardiff City’s second-highest earner, Joe Ralls.
Only Leicester City duo Jamie Vardy and Harry Winks are reportedly on more money each week while Ricardo Pereira earns the exact same amount as the ex-Juventus star.
