Sporting director has ‘set his sights’ on Aston Villa player – Confidence reasonable priced deal can be done

The defender Lucas Digne of Aston Villa has “set his sights” on AS Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto, and it is thought that he may be signed for a fair price.

According to Il Romanista, the Italian club is debating whether to replace Leonardo Spinazzola with Digne if he decides to return.

They clarify that Spinazzola is probably playing his final season in a Roma jersey because his contract expires at the conclusion of the current season and no talks have yet taken place regarding an extension.

Roma doesn’t appear to have any intentions of keeping him, and it’s possible that he may leave on free transfer with replacement plans already in place. Pinto is working on that front, and one of the scenarios he is considering is move for defender Lucas Digne of Aston Villa. He has “set his sights” on the former Roma player from France because he possesses number of qualities that could make him the perfect Spinazzola successor.

According to the perception, Digne might be’ready to return’ after spending several years in England and could be sold for a price Roma could more than afford.
Moving forward, it’s important to keep an eye on this issue because it all depends on Spinazzola’s future and whether Roma decides to renew him.
