Boston maintained control for most of the game before ultimately building on their lead in the fourth. The best part about their sixth victory was getting the bench production that they have been looking for.

Payton Pritchard snapped out of his cold spell with 13 points. Luke Kornet shined in 18 minutes in Al Horford’s absence with seven points and nine rebounds and made big plays. Sam Hauser had 15 staying hot from three going 5-10.

Holiday was asked if it was good to know that the best game and performance is still yet to come for this team.

“I think it’s always good to know that we can get to another level,” the two-time All-Star said. “I don’t think anybody wants to kinda reach the top too early or peak too early but again, a lot of stuff is new for us, a lot of things are different for me and myself.”

Holiday made it an emphasis that the game plan and execution are what the Celtics focus on.

“I feel like with the time that we have, it’s fun playing out there, which is important, but I think execution wise, toughness, effort, those are things we kinda hang our hats on every night,” Holiday said.
