Latest News: Browns TE David Sounds Off on ‘Unacceptable’ Performance….

The Pittsburgh Steelers were defeated by the Cleveland Browns, however David Njoku didn’t perform well.

The typically reliable tight end failed three or four passes in the 13-10 victory over the Steelers and did not offer an explanation for the defeat.

Njoku wrote, “Great team win but that shxt was unacceptable.” “I need to improve; I’m appreciative of my brothers for persevering through it all. 1-1.

Njoku still made his impact felt. With quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson looking for short completions, he finished with a team-high seven catches for 56 yards on a whopping 15 targets. He also had a crucial catch on the Browns’ final drive that helped set up Dustin Hopkins‘ game-winning field goal.

“Dave’s going to make a bunch of plays this year, same with Elijah (Moore) and all those guys,” Thompson-Robinson said. “So I have no choice but to get the ball out of my hands and get it in their hands because they’re special playmakers.”

Njoku, however, wasn’t satisfied with his performance and has a strategy to get better.

“I’m heading straight home to use the jug machine,” Njoku declared to the media following the match. “Back to work, but it was a good victory.”

Njoku ranks second in yards (433), and he is tied for the team lead in catches (45). This season, he has also hit the end zone twice.
