After been rejected by Gareth Southgate’s England football team multiple times, James Maddison is overjoyed to be preparing for the World Cup in 2022 rather than relaxing on a sun lounger.
The 25-year-old’s only cap came in 2019, and the midfielder was expected to be left out of Qatar’s 26-man squad after being ignored during previous purple patches at Leicester City.
