Phoenix Suns: Royce O’Neale Perfectly Explains Why Big 3 Of Durant,Booker,Beal Works…

By Phoenix Suns are just sixth at the moment in the Western Conference standings but on paper, they can look like a much better team. With a super trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, each capable of taking over the game offensively, the Suns shouldn’t have lots of problems scoring-wise.

The Phoenix Suns’ Trio Is A Huge Threat To The Rest Of The League

They become even a much bigger threat when they’re being unselfish, as pointed out Monday night by Royce O’Neale following the Phoenix Suns; 117-111 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road.

Against the Cavs, Durant led the way for the Phoenix Suns with 37 points on 14/26 shooting from the field. When he’s not torching the Cavs’ defense, Booker and Beal were taking turns pummeling Cleveland, as they finished with 27 and 24 points, respectively.

The Suns are still in the process of learning how to play with each other, particularly their Big Three. Injuries have robbed Phoenix of some games where Durant, Booker, and Beal could have played together, but they’re all healthy now and looking to improve their chemistry as the 2024 NBA postseason approaches.

Although they are just 15th in the league with 26.5 assists per game and 17th with 0.624 assists per field goal made, that doesn’t mean they’re not doing a great job of sharing the ball. They just are so talented from an individual standpoint, with Durant, Booker, and Beal elite in creating shots of their own. The Suns are also eighth overall with a 56.3 effective field goal percentage.

With so much talent on their starting unit because of Durant, Booker, and Beal, the Suns will be a handful for whichever opponent/s they come across in the playoffs.
