Injury Report: Suns guard Devin Booker questionable with ankle injury ahead of game vs. Nuggets…

Prior to their matchup with the NBA champion Denver Nuggets at Footprint Center on Friday, the Phoenix Suns have a very small injury list, but the most recent addition is guard Devin Booker.

Booker has a right ankle sprain and is classified as doubtful. In the third quarter of Wednesday’s game in Toronto against the Raptors, he sustained the injury. He looked to have rolled his ankle after unintentionally stepping on a Toronto player’s foot. Before coming back into the game later in the third, he was out of the game for around eight minutes.

Joining Booker on the injury report are Damion Lee (knee) and Bradley Beal (back), both of whom are out.

Beal will miss this game for the seventh straight time. This season, he has only participated in three games, averaging 17.3 points in 28.7 minutes.

Both Grayson Allen (sickness) and Nassir Little (personal) missed Wednesday’s game against Toronto. Little returned to Phoenix for his child’s birth.

Regarding Denver, guard Jamal Murray is listed as injured after injuring his ankle on Wednesday night at home against the Houston Rockets, while reigning NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic is not. He is dubious about the game. Aaron Gordon, the starting forward and a former Arizona Wildcat, is also dubious (heel).
