Good News: Suns’ Bradley Beal on track for return Tuesday vs. Warriors ‘barring setbacks’….

According to multiple reports, Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal is set to return to action Tuesday at home against the Golden State Warriors after missing 12 games due to back issues.

Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic initially reported that Beal was on track to play without a setback. With his last appearance on November 12, he went a month without playing any matches. The veteran and key player in Phoenix’s offseason acquisition had to be pushed back three games due to returning at this point in the season. He averaged 17.3 points per game on 39% shooting from the floor. Coach Frank Vogel told reporters Sunday that Beal was a full participant in practice. Beal has yet to play Devin Booker, the only member of the Big 3 who can recover from Friday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings, with Kevin Durant having a sprained ankle. The struggling Suns have lost four of five games and are 12-10 on the season. Booker missed nine games and Durant three. Vogel told reporters Durant, Grayson Allen (groin) and Nassir Little (concussion protocol, orbital fracture) did not practice Sunday. The Suns will have had three days off between the Kings’ loss and the Warriors’ game at the Footprint Center. Phoenix plays 11 of its next 14 games at home, and Vogel said before Friday’s game that he hopes to have the Big 3 on the court for most of that stretch.
