Vikings-Raiders live score updates: NFL regular season Week 14…

Justin Jefferson is back. The Vikings’ superstar wide receiver, the reigning NFL offensive player of the year, is making his highly-anticipated return today as Minnesota takes on the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

He’ll be catching passes from Josh Dobbs for the first time, so it’ll be fascinating to see what kind of connection those two can forge. The Vikings considered changing their quarterback after Dobbs threw four interceptions against the Bears a couple weeks ago. But as they reviewed things over the bye week, they decided to stick with Dobbs in the hopes that he can bounce back and take care of the football better. Having Jefferson at his disposal will provide a very nice boost.

There’s a ton of purple in the crowd today for the Vikings’ first-ever regular season game in Vegas. This is a big one for their playoff hopes, considering that a third straight loss would drop the Vikings below .500 and make the task of reaching the postseason a tough one with four games left. A win would set Minnesota up to likely just need two wins in the final four to get in. This should be an interesting game. Not only will the Dobbs-Jefferson connection be fun to watch, the Vikings’ excellent Brian Flores-led defense should be able to make things happen against Raiders rookie QB Aidan O’Connell. The Raiders are three-point home underdogs, but they have stars like Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby who are always dangerous
