Following Saturday’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Liverpool, Tottenham defender faced racist comments.

The 20-year-old Italian played the entire 90 minutes as Jurgen Klopp’s team was defeated by Spurs in contentious circumstances, with Liverpool being reduced to nine men and VAR not correctly awarding them a goal.

After Luis Diaz’s first-half goal was ruled offside, the referee organization PGMOL later issued an official apology.

Due to his role in the ejection of Liverpool attacker Diogo Jota, Udogie received numerous harsh remarks on an image he shared online after the game.

Jota received two yellow cards inside a minute for two different challenges on the left-back in the second half.

Tottenham has already released statement in which they indicate that they are “disgusted” by the comments sent to Udogie and that they intend to take legal action against anyone discovered to be guilty. The complete statement was as follows: “We are outraged by the racial remarks made against Destiny Udogie on social media after Saturday’s game against Liverpool. We will collaborate with the Premier League and, when appropriate, take legal action against anyone we can name. We support you, Destiny.
