Stuart Webber will leave Norwich in the next two weeks and take a job opportunity with Leeds United
According to Alan Nixon, Stuart Webber is expected to depart Norwich City within the next two weeks due to connections with Leeds United.
The director of football for the Canaries submitted his notice in June, but he was able to remain at Carrow Road until the end of the season, according to a Sunday, October 29, Patreon story by The Sun journalist.
Nixon stated that the transfer of power is now “complete,” allowing the Welshman to take office sooner than expected. The Welshman has been connected to “several posts,” one of which is at Elland Road.
Although managers generally would not be engaged in such decisions, you would expect Farke to have some say in Webber’s possible appointment having worked with him at Norwich.
After winning two promotions to the Premier League, the Leeds manager was fired in 2021, ending their four years together at Carrow Road.
Given that the Whites are thinking of bringing Webber to Elland Road, you would imagine they still have a great working relationship because they obviously understand each other’s processes.
49ers Enterprises, which was apparently taken aback by the small number of employees performing a variety of tasks in West Yorkshire, is currently seeking to increase the number of people working behind the scenes.
The new owners intend to improve things off the field in order to position the team better should they return to the Premier League, thus this would be another significant appointment.
