Injury Update: Cooper In, Jones Out in Browns’ Final Injury Report Before Week 14……

Cleveland announced its final injury report before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14.Cleveland’s headliner is wide receiver Amari Cooper.

In Los Angeles, Cooper suffered a head injury that left him with a concussion and listed him as questionable for this week’s game against Jacksonville.Cooper went through concussion protocol on Saturday and will be back in action on Sunday. Somewhat surprising news is that rookie right tackle Dawand Jones is out for this game. According to head coach Kevin Stefanski, Jones injured his knee in practice this week, which will cause him to miss this game. This will be another test for the Cleveland team and coaching staff to overcome his injury. In other news, the Browns have officially released Joe Flacco from the practice squad and he will be on the active roster for Sunday.Cornerback Cam Mitchell is also activated this week. Mitchell has spent the last four weeks on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury on November 7. To make room for Mitchell on the roster, the Browns have officially cut quarterback PJ Walker from their roster. Walker will no longer be a member of the Cleveland Browns. The Jaguars defense is vulnerable in the passing game, so the news of Amari Cooper going through the concussion protocol is huge for this offense. The Browns offensive attack needs its number one receiver to be able to find some balance on Sunday. We will receive another injury report 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday, then the teams will officially face off at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
