After a contract for a player fell through before the international break, Erol Bulut does not intend to sign any more free agents until the January transfer window.

Cardiff wanted to recruit a new player a week ago, but there were legal issues that “could not be overcome.”

Bulut, speaking for the first time since the aborted trade — the identity of the player is still unknown — stated, “”We are always looking in the market at what we can obtain.” It was unsuccessful. We’ll keep going. I’m hoping we can accomplish something in January. It will never come to an end. We are always looking and working on that.”

When asked if he expected any free agents will be signed before then, Bulut answered, “I don’t think so.” We’ll be with this squad till the end of January.”
