Michael Beale, a former Aston Villa assistant manager, has been fired by Rangers. The 43-year-old worked at Villa Park as Steven Gerrard’s assistant coach for over seven months. Then, at the conclusion of the 2021–2022 season, he left to join QPR. Beale departed the Championship team after five months in charge to join Rangers, his old team. His comeback, nevertheless, hasn’t gone quite as expected.
Gers are in third place and seven points behind Celtic after a challenging start to the season. The 3-1 loss against Aberdeen on Saturday turned out to be Beale’s final game in command.
