Aston Villa ‘Would Be Willing’ To Pay €30 Million To sign – The ‘First Offer’ Is Believed To Have Been Accepted.

In the January transfer window, Aston Villa ‘might be willing’ to spend up to €30 million for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.

According to Fichajes, the Spaniard might return to the Premier League following his loan term at Arsenal.

They claim that Aston Villa have been ‘clearly showing’ an interest in signing Ceballos ‘for some time’ and that if he becomes available from Real Madrid in January, they may make a bid. They are willing to pay up to €30 million for him, believing that he may decide to go after struggling for playing time at the Bernabeu despite signing a new contract in the summer.

Aston Villa’s interest appears to have come through Monchi and Unai Emery, with the latter having’maintained communication’ with the youngster and saying he would play a key part at Villa Park under him.

Such an amount would allow Real Madrid to recoup their investment in a player who has demonstrated talent but has yet to establish himself as a major player under a number of coaches.

Aston Villa appear to be willing to grant him a chance to shine elsewhere, despite having a talented midfield and attacking line.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid has received the ‘first bid’ for the transfer, but that appears to be through intermediaries at best.
