Aston Villa Are Expected To Make A £26 Million Transfer Once The January Transfer Window Opens.

Once the January transfer market opens, Aston Villa are expected to make a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos. Ceballos was reportedly of interest to Villa during Unai Emery’s first summer window in charge of the Lions, during which time they brought in Moussa Diaby, Pau Torres, Youri Tielemans, Clement Lenglet, and Nicolo Zaniolo, the latter pair to cover for injured Emi Buendia and Tyrone Mings.

Villa, juggling Premier League fixtures with a Europa Conference League campaign in which they’re aiming to progress deeply into, could top up their squad again in the winter window – and reports emerging from Spain suggest that Ceballos remains on Emery’s wish-list. Having missed out on Marco Asensio, who joined PSG, Emery was tipped to move for his Los Blancos teammate.
