Phoenix Suns shooting guard Bradley Beal suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the first quarter of their 139-122 loss to the New York Knicks and was unable to return to the game.
Beal had gone up for a three-point shot when he landed awkwardly on the foot of Knicks SG Donte DiVincenzo and appeared to roll his ankle.
The 30-year-old immediately grabbed at the ankle and remained on the ground in pain for several minutes while he was attended to by trainers.
He eventually departed to the locker room after standing up and making his free throw.
Beal had played only five minutes while recording six points and an assist before suffering his latest injury.
