Rangers appear to have a real talent emerging in Ross McCausland.

The 20-year-old former Linfield talent has been showing promise this season, including in a cameo against Sparta Prague on Thursday night.
McCausland then earned a start against Livingston on Sunday, providing a major threat down the right flank.
Philippe Clement seems to like what he is seeing from McCausland – and so does striker Cyriel Dessers.
Dessers has told Rangers Review that he definitely feels sorry for McCausland after having a superb goal ruled out on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward noted that McCausland is really impressing in training at the moment, displaying real quality every day.
Dessers predicts that the goal will come for McCausland soon enough, whilst backing him to become a ‘very, very good player’ for Rangers.
McCausland’s mentality was also praised by Dessers, highlighting that he is so calm even with hype building around his potential at Ibrox.
“Definitely. Of course, we see his quality every day in training and I think everyone has seen in it the last games. I think we all hoped for him to score his first goal today but with his qualities, I’m sure the goals will come very soon for him,” said Dessers.
“That’s a difficult question but I think he has it in him, he has the qualities to be a very, very good player for Rangers, to be a key player here. Of course, he has to grow and develop and things, but I think he has it in him. Also, he has a good mentality, he’s pretty calm about everything that is happening, because it’s not easy as a young player to come into a team like Rangers. He has a good head so I think he is going to grow and he’s going to be important for us,” he added.
Everybody is so excited about McCausland but there is a lingering concern here, in that he could leave Rangers in 2024.
McCausland is out of contract at the end of the season and you can be sure that other clubs are tracking his progress closely.
Fabrizio Romano reported over the weekend that Rangers have now submitted a proposal for McCausland to stay at Ibrox until 2027.
Romano does though add that Premier League clubs are looking at McCausland with compensation of just £350,000 needed as things stand.
Rangers will now push hard to keep McCausland, with many inside Ibrox no doubt sharing Dessers’ view on the winger’s potential.
