If Rangers are looking for an affordable, reliable option to replace Kemar Roofe next season then they could do a lot worse than offering Che Adams a contract in January.
The Southampton striker’s current deal runs out at the end of the season and he may well be looking for a fresh start away from England’s second tier and constant relegation battles.
At 27-years old, Rangers would be picking up a player approaching his peak and Che Adams could be good value for money.

Rangers have striker upgrade option in Bosman Che Adams move
Adams would be reminiscent of Rod Wallace when he arrived at Rangers, unfancied and free, he wasn’t as glamourous as some of the other names that signed under Dick Advocaat and yet he made as big an impact as any.
He was fast, hard-working and energetic, and, in a team that created more chances, he thrived.
Looking at Rangers main number nines compared to Che Adams, there are a few interesting points to note.
Adams has a higher expected assists value, is better in the air and, perhaps more important, scores more goals than he is expected to.
