Rescue on the Road: A Thank You to the Lady Who Saved a Black Puppy Near Inverness

On Tuesday around 4:30 pm, while driving south from Inverness, I witnessed a heartwarming act of kindness. Approximately 20 minutes out of Inverness, cars ahead of me slowed down and swerved to avoid something on the road. The car directly in front of me came to a complete stop, hazard lights flashing, as the driver—a lady—got out and scooped up a black puppy (possibly an Alsatian pup, though it was getting dark). She quickly placed the puppy into her car, rescuing it from potential danger.

A big thank you to this kind-hearted individual for saving that wee soul! It’s disheartening to see others simply drive by without stopping, but I’m hopeful that the pup is now safe and well. Does anyone have an update on what happened to the little one?
