Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on bringing Dusan Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium.
According to Football Transfers, Arsenal want to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.
The report has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of Vlahovic and personally wants the Gunners to bring the striker to the North London club.
Arteta wanted to sign the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) striker in previous transfer windows and remains keen on securing his services.
According to Football Transfers, Arteta “would jump at the chance to sign” Vlahovic “if the opportunity presented itself again”.
In my view, Arsenal could struggle to sign Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window or even in the summer of 2024.
Juventus are doing extremely well at the moment and could win the Scudetto this season.
They are one of the biggest clubs in Italy and in the world.
Juventus do not tend to sell players they do not want to sell.
Vlahovic, who is “lightning” and whose “left foot is like a wand”, according to former Manchester City and Fiorentina defender Micah Richards on BBC Radio 5 Live in December 2021, is an important player for the Bianconeri.
Juventus may not be keen on offloading him anytime soon.
The 23-year-old striker has scored six starts and three substitute appearances in Serie A this season.
The Serbian has scored four goals and given one assist in those games.
Vlahovic made 22 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A for Juventus last season.
The youngster scored 10 goals and gave two assists in those games.
Chelsea have also been linked with Vlahovic, who is one of the best young strikers in the world and could get better and develop further.
