BREAKING NEWS: Texas A&M DL forced to withdraw from Senior Bowl due to shocking reason

Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner has withdrawn from the Senior Bowl after it was discovered that the stress fracture he had surgically repaired before the season didn’t fully heal, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Turner had a rod inserted in his leg during surgery but unknowingly played through the season with the injury. He has been advised to avoid impact on his leg for 3-4 weeks to allow proper healing.

Despite this setback, Turner will participate in Scouting Combine interviews in Indianapolis next month and plans to showcase his skills at his Pro Day in March. He remains projected as a top-50 draft pick.

During his career at Texas A&M, Turner recorded 115 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, one pass deflection, and three forced fumbles.
