However, NFL Insider Tony Grossi firmly dismissed these rumors during a recent segment on “ESPN Cleveland.”
“I think it’s 0%. 0.0%. Andrew Berry is on record saying we’re not trading our foundation players,” Grossi stated, referencing the Browns GM’s commitment to keeping key players like Garrett.
Grossi also hinted that a contract extension could be in the works, potentially securing Garrett’s long-term future with the franchise.
Currently under contract through 2026, Garrett remains a cornerstone for the Browns. His 2024 performance – including 14 sacks and 47 tackles – solidified his status as a Defensive Player of the Year finalist and underscored his immense value to the team.
Rather than exploring trade possibilities, it seems more likely the Browns will reward Garrett with a lucrative pay raise to ensure his continued presence in Cleveland.
