Breaking Injury News !!!! – Rangers attacker to undergo separate training regime, full return not on cards soon – Injury Expert……

Rangers attacker Ianis Hagi is not ready to start professional games after being out with such a long-term injury lay-off, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert believes that the ideal way of getting him match fit again is to keep giving him minutes off the bench and increase the duration of playing time.

He also claims that he will have a training routine that is designed solely to cater to his fitness and that will be something separate from the rest of the first-team drills.

Discussing Hagi’s situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said, “The best course of action is a methodical return where you’re progressively bumping up minutes as long as the player is responding well.

“In terms of routine, he will undergo a specific warm-up and cool-down routine that is individualised to him.“

The Romania international was ruled out at the start of 2022 with a knee injury and had not featured for Rangers since then until January 2023.

This season, he has not featured for more than 20 minutes off the bench for the club in the league and according to Dr Brar, that number will gradually increase he starts responding better to the training regime.
