The Phoenix Suns will be without a handful of key players in their game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night.First, Frank Vogel announced that Kevin Durant would be out with an ankle injury.
This will be Durant’s third missed game this season. When healthy, he averages 31 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.Grayson Allen was also placed on the list as he battles a groin injury. Like Durant, this will be Allen’s third missed game this season.
Against the Lakers on Tuesday, Allen scored 21 points on 14 shots. He is currently on pace to break his career highs in points, rebounds and assists per game.Finally, Bradley Beal will be out due to a back injury.
The last time Beal played a game with the Suns was November 12. Beal will miss his 19th game this season on Friday.The good news, however, is that Beal fully participated in Thursday’s practice.Frank Vogel noted that he would like Bradley Beal to practice at full speed a few more times before seeing the field in a game.Kickoff for the Suns’ game against the Kings on Friday is 8 p.m. at the Empreinte Center.
