Kevin Durant and the Suns have underachieved to this point in the season, sitting one game under .500 at 14-15.
Phoenix’s star trio of Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have only played a total of two games and 24 minutes together through the first 29 games of the season due to various injuries and absences, and the supporting cast has not been able to pick up the slack.
Ahead of the Suns’ Christmas Day game against the Mavericks, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski brought some of Phoenix’s behind-the-scenes issues to life with a report that made the rounds after his appearance on “NBA Countdown.”
