The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news: The defender could be one of the players to leave the club when the winter window opens.
Championship club Middlesbrough are reportedly “ready” to make their “initial offer” to sign Nottingham Forest captain Joe Worrall in the January transfer window.The centre-back could leave the club during the winter window after falling out of favor this season. After starting and captaining the team in the first five Premier League matches of the season, the 26-year-old initially sat on the bench before being dropped from the team completely in the final seven matches championship. Worrall, along with fellow centre-back Scott McKenna, has reportedly been ordered to stay away from first-team training. NottinghamshireLive understands that although the duo have not trained with the first team during the tactical build-up to the match, they have not been completely excluded and there are no behavioral issues or disputes with management . Worrall’s exclusion from the squad led to discussions that he could be moved on at the start of the January transfer window.
