News Report: Milwaukee Brewers-New York Yankees Trade Proposal Lands Crew 3 Top 30 Prospects….

The Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees have already completed a trade this offseason. In November, power hitter Jake Bauers was traded to the Brew Crew in exchange for young talents Jace Avina and Brian Sanchez.

That deal fell through on the day of the no-bid deadline. For the Brewers, Bauers will play a role as first base and designated hitter. Avina, the Yankees’ 29th overall pick, and Sanchez, 19, still need to develop before they can find their feet in the major leagues. There is still plenty of offseason left and it’s possible the two sides could agree on a new trade. A Yankees fan site titled Bombers Coverage recently presented a hypothetical trade proposal that netted Milwaukee three top-30 prospects in exchange for Corbin Burnes. This proposed trade includes the Yankees’ third-ranked prospect (Pereira), sixth-ranked prospect (Arias) and 14th-ranked prospect (Beeter). Of the three, Pereira made his MLB debut, while Beeter reached Triple-A and Arias is just 19 years old.Looking further afield, Pereira is an aggressive hitter at the plate who swings often, hits the ball and has a track record of success in the minor leagues. While he tends to hit often, when he puts the ball in play he often deals damage and hits the ball hard. His aggressiveness and power arsenal would set him apart from other Brewers prospects, but he only has one option left in the minor leagues and he struggled in a month of major league action last year.As for Beeter, his long-term view is that he is better served as a relief pitcher rather than a starting pitcher. His slider is rated at 65 and his fastball can reach 98 MPH, but control remains an issue. On the other hand, Arias was MLB Pipeline’s top prospect during the 2022 Intentional Signing Period, and he is solid defensively while also possessing a ton of speed.
