The Philadelphia 76ers have introduced “Spectrum Sprint,” a free mobile game incorporating Web3 features, created in partnership with Crypto.com, a sponsor of the team since 2021.
The game adopts a pixel art style and side-scrolling mechanics, where players navigate through Philadelphia’s landmarks and race down Broad Street to the team’s former Spectrum arena. As they play, users can unlock digital collectibles and compete for exclusive prizes across four levels: Rookie, Pro, All-Star, and Legend.
Top scorers will receive rewards such as courtside tickets, invitations to the Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, and a suite for 12 during the 2025-26 NBA season. An in-game leaderboard will showcase the best performers, with the highest scorers gaining additional VIP experiences.
The game will also be featured at “Spirit of 76 Night” home games, where fans can play the game and sign up for a Crypto.com account. Developed by Impossible Brief, Spectrum Sprint is part of a Web3 trilogy celebrating the team’s Nike City Edition uniforms. The first game, Buckets on Broad, was released in November, and the third game is scheduled for March.
Tommy Beebe, the 76ers VP and Creative Director, mentioned, “At the 76ers, one of our goals is to provide our fans with a unique experience and create ways to engage with new audiences.”
