Saddddd…: Heat Guard Criticizes Referees Over Flopping Calls….

It’s been an interesting season for Josh Richardson and the rest of his Miami Heat.Richardson has earned himself a good amount of time on the field and has worked hard to become an important part of the team’s rotation.

But he also has some problems with the referees. On Friday night, Richardson spoke out about what he considers dishonest actions.Speaking to the press, via ClutchPoints, Richardson spoke about the flop calls he has received in recent games. “I’m normally not one to worry [or comment] about umpires, but I hate all three of my flop calls. They’re just not good at being realistic about it,” Richardson said. Richardson and the referees have seen each other a lot lately. He was called out for flopping three times in the last few games and was also fined $2,000 for it.On Friday he tried to explain himself by saying that none of his actions were a flop, but only natural reactions to his opponents’ shots. The Heat have struggled as of late, losing five of their last seven games, including Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They had an impressive seven-game winning streak a few weeks ago, but that seems like a long time ago now. Richardson averaged 10.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game and shot an outstanding 46.3% from the field. He’s playing more minutes than he has in years, but unfortunately the referees are calling for him more often.
