Stefan Bajcetic will not travel with Liverpool to visit Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday, according manager Jurgen Klopp.
The 18-year-old has experienced a “little setback” ahead of the Spurs match, according to the Anfield manager, who was speaking to the Reds media team.
Bajcetic has now made 21 competitive appearances for Liverpool, including a cameo in the team’s victory over Leicester on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup.After making his way onto the Liverpool squad and having a lengthy run at the beginning of the year, the Spain youth international has made an impression.
Sadly, Bajcetic’s momentum was stopped by an injury last season that kept him out until the summer.
