Championship rivals Leeds United and Sunderland fire their boss

After only 10 games, one of Leeds United’s Championship rivals has opted to fire their manager. Sheffield Wednesday have only collected two points from their first 10 games this season, which is terrible start.With owner Dejphon Chansiri recently saying he will not be investing any more money in the club owing to an ongoing dispute with the fans, The Owls are in difficulty both on and off the field.Last season, Wednesday earned promotion after making it via the playoffs, and they controversially decided to fire Darren Moore,

Wednesday confirmed the decision with a statement this (Wednesday) evening, saying: “Sheffield Wednesday have parted company with Xisco Muñoz, who leaves Hillsborough with immediate effect. Xisco’s backroom staff – Miguel Muñoz, Miguel Gomila, Roberto Cuesta Roman and Antonello Brambilla – also depart the club.
The team will travel to play Huddersfield Town at home on Saturday under the direction of Under-21s boss Neil Thompson. The Owls would like to express their gratitude to Xisco and his team for their assistance and best wishes for the future.Given Wednesday’s current Championship standing at the very bottom, it is unknown where she will go. They are currently seven points from safety and have been promised not to make any signings in January, but they cannot possibly go back to Moore, who recently replaced Neil Warnock at Huddersfield Town.
