For the remainder of the season, Salabio has joined the West Yorkshire team.
Hugo Salabio, a prop for Hull FC, has signed a loan deal with Castleford Tigers for the remainder of 2025. In West Yorkshire, the front-rower, who has appeared in five games for the Black and Whites this season, will now seek out some welcome Super League playing time.
Salabio, who last played against Castleford last month, is available for recall by Hull for two weeks. On dual registration, he has also participated in one Doncaster game this season.
Before Christmas, the 24-year-old French forward signed a two-year contract. He made his Hull debut against York Acorn in January and went on to play against Wigan (both league and cup), Huddersfield, and Castleford.
As exclusively revealed by All Out Rugby League, he is the third prop to join the Fords this week, after Jordan Dezeria and Tom Amone.
Amone, who joined Canterbury Bulldogs for 2025, is scheduled to return to the United Kingdom from Australia. He will now try his luck in the Super League after failing to make an appearance for the Sydney-based team in the NRL. For the 2026 season and beyond, he is expected to sign with Hull KR.
Dezeria comes from Catalans, and the three players give Danny McGuire’s pack some much-needed grunt. On Thursday night, Castleford will play Wakefield Trinity at Belle Vue.
